Gift reveal scratch cards
Gift reveal digital scratch cards
Build suspense before the present — let them scratch to discover what you got them.
Try a gift reveal
Scratch the demo to feel the reveal. Then open the creator with a gift-style template preselected so you can swap in your own wording.
Gift reveals work when the waiting is half the fun. A digital scratch card lets you tease a present without spoiling it in a plain chat message. Share the link when the parcel arrives, at dinner, or mid-video call. Recipients scratch to uncover the gift name, a pickup clue, or a “look in the cupboard” hint. Create one on scratch.mobi in less than a minute and send it on WhatsApp, SMS or Telegram — no app to download.
Example gift reveal messages
- “Your gift is ready — scratch to find out what it is.”
- “Look in the hall cupboard when you get home. Scratch for the clue.”
- “I booked something for us. Scratch to see where we are going.”
- “This present has your name on it. Reveal the surprise.”
- “Secret Santa tip: the box under the desk is yours.”

Ideas that land well
- Pair the scratch card with the physical gift for a two-step surprise.
- Use a clue (“silver wrapping”) instead of the full gift name if you want a slower reveal.
- For group gifts, one shared link keeps everyone in on the moment.
- Need the card to last beyond 24 hours? Choose a Premium Card on Pricing.
Frequently asked questions
What is a gift reveal scratch card?
It is a digital card with a scratch-off layer that hides a gift message or clue. Recipients scratch online to uncover what you wrote.
Can I share a gift reveal by SMS?
Yes. Generate a link or QR code and send it by SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram or any messaging app.
Do I need to download an app?
No. You create the card in the browser and recipients open the link in theirs. A free account is only needed when you generate the shareable link.
Will search engines index my gift message?
Shared card pages are marked so search engines do not index them. Only people with your link can open the card.
